The African reality

A continent of potential, yet untapped.

Africa holds approximately 65% of the world’s uncultivated arable land, yet spends over $35 billion annually importing food. The project frames this gap as an opportunity to create jobs, production and prosperity at home.

System & structure

A structured model built for sustainability.

From screening and skills development to farm establishment, profit sharing, savings and an ownership path, AYAFED combines support with accountability.

01

Participants are identified through a rigorous screening process to select candidates committed to their success and growth.

02

Skills Development

Selected candidates receive comprehensive training in specialized agricultural techniques for modern farming.

03

Empowerment & Support

AYAFED establishes farms for beneficiaries and provides technical support, professional mentorship and market access.

04

Profit-Sharing Model

At harvest, net profits are distributed with 60% allocated to the beneficiary and 40% to AYAFED for long-term sustainability.

05

Farm Cluster System

Beneficiaries are grouped into contiguous farm clusters to enable efficient oversight, monitoring and professional farm management.

06

Specialized Savings Program

In collaboration with financial institutions, beneficiaries receive a tailored savings structure to build capital for future growth.

07

Ownership Path

After four years, beneficiaries have the option to gain full ownership of the farm by paying off AYAFED’s initial investment.

08

Pay-It-Forward

Participants are encouraged to contribute to the growth of new beneficiaries and are recognized through awards and incentives.

At harvest

Shared value. Shared responsibility.

The core profit-sharing structure allocates 60% of net profits to the beneficiary and 40% to AYAFED, supporting the continuity of the empowerment initiative. Third-party investor arrangements can use a mutually agreed structure.
